The mission of the Global Virus Network (GVN) is to strengthen research and responses to current viral causes of human disease and to prepare against new viral pandemic threats. Founded in 2011, the network now includes 40 GVN Centers of Excellence and seven affiliate laboratories in 25 countries.
The 10th International Global Virus Network (GVN) Meeting will be co-hosted by two GVN Centers of Excellence, the Mérieux Foundation (FM) and the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo), and led by FM’s Dr. Hubert Endtz, TiHo’s Dr. Ab Osterhaus and GVN’s Dr. Christian Bréchot.
