Op-ed by Alain Mérieux, President of the Mérieux Foundation, featured in The Hill
Titled “We have to start preparing for the next deadly epidemic”, this op-ed was published on September 27th on the website of The Hill, a US newspaper focusing on policy, politics and international relations.
In his op-ed, Alain Mérieux, President of the Mérieux Foundation, calls for greater mobilization: “Stronger health systems and better international cooperation on infectious threats are possible but more countries and partners need to engage, and to do so with greater efficiency. It is the only way we can see the threats around us well enough to act, and to act fast.”
